Building or remodeling in West Palm Beach? Pavers by Silva brings premium paver installation, pool decks, driveways and remodels to homeowners across West Palm Beach and the rest of Palm Beach County.
West Palm Beach has some of the oldest housing in the county along with some of the newest. El Cid and Flamingo Park were built largely in the 1920s, with Mediterranean Revival and Mission style homes on established streets south of downtown. SoSo, the area south of Southern Boulevard, is mostly mid-century houses, many of which have been enlarged or rebuilt. Ibis is far to the west, a gated golf community with larger homes built from the 1990s on.
Each calls for a different look. Next to a 1920s house we tend to suggest tumbled pavers, warm colors and simple borders that suit clay tile roofs and stucco walls. In SoSo, new pools and additions often mean a full new deck and driveway at once. In Ibis, most requests are for larger patios and for replacing worn driveway pavers.
Rain is the condition we plan around most in West Palm Beach. Summer storms can drop a lot of water in a short time, and many lots here are flat with little natural fall. We set the grade so water moves away from the house and toward the street, a drain or a planted area, and we add channel drains where a driveway slopes toward a garage. Pavers also let some water pass through the joints, which helps the surface dry faster after a storm.
Custom paver driveways built for curb appeal and durability.
Cool, non-slip pool decks and luxury travertine & marble for West Palm Beach homes.
We restore, remodel, clean and seal existing pavers to bring them back to life.

Yes. We cover West Palm Beach from the older neighborhoods near the Intracoastal, such as El Cid, Flamingo Park and SoSo, out to Ibis in the west, plus the surrounding parts of Palm Beach County.
Often, yes. Standing water usually comes from a surface that is too flat or that slopes the wrong way. When we rebuild a driveway or pool deck we regrade the base and can add drains so water has somewhere to go.
Yes. For 1920s homes we look at the roof tile, stucco color and any original stonework, then suggest paver colors, finishes and patterns that fit the house. Homes in a historic district may need city review for exterior changes, so it is worth checking before you choose materials.
