Want luxury hardscaping in Fort Lauderdale? Pavers by Silva brings premium paver installation, pool decks, driveways and remodels to homeowners across Fort Lauderdale and the rest of Broward County.
Fort Lauderdale is built around water. Canals run behind the homes on the Las Olas isles, through Rio Vista and across much of Coral Ridge, so a typical lot there has a seawall and dock at the back, a pool set between the house and the water, and a short driveway out front. Victoria Park sits just inland, with smaller lots where older cottages stand next to new townhomes and modern builds.
That mix decides the work. On waterfront lots we mostly rebuild pool decks and the strip between pool and seawall, often in travertine or marble, and replace driveways when a house is renovated or rebuilt. In Victoria Park and similar streets the projects are more compact: a paver driveway that fits two cars, a side walkway, or a courtyard patio where there is little yard to spare.
Low ground and tidal water are the main things to plan for in Fort Lauderdale. The water table is close to the surface on many canal lots, and some streets take on water during the highest tides of the year. We set finished heights and slopes so rain drains away from the house, and we keep heavy equipment and stockpiled material back from the seawall cap. For waterfront decks we suggest dense pavers or stone that tolerate salt spray and brackish splash.
Custom paver driveways built for curb appeal and durability.

Yes. We work across Fort Lauderdale, including Las Olas, Coral Ridge, Rio Vista and Victoria Park, and in neighboring Broward County cities.
Yes. On canal lots we can pave up to the seawall cap and slope the surface so water does not sit against the wall. If the seawall itself is leaning, cracked or losing soil behind it, that should be repaired by a marine contractor before new pavers go down.
Pavers tend to cope with occasional standing water because the joints let the surface move without cracking, and a settled area can be lifted and re-leveled. If a property is later raised or regraded, the pavers can often be taken up and reused at the new height. Drainage rules vary by lot, so the design may need review by the city.
